NEW WEBSITE
Welcome to the new St. Mary's RC Primary School website. In response to a number of issues with our old website - which we were unable to rectify ourselves - we have now created our own website, which we will have full control over editing, updating and re-formatting. We hope you enjoy the new layout and would ask that if you have any suggestions whatsoever with regards to how we can improve the website, please just let us know (electronic form to be found on the Parents' page) and we will endeavour to make the website as useful as possible for you, our school community.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Mrs M. T. McMillan

Duckpool Pre-School
The Pre-School are delighted with their new larger building and have decided to change their working arrangements, in order to help fulfil the desire of the majority of parents for 5 morning sessions. At present, they operate 16 morning places and some afternoon sessions. From September 2013, they will be offering 24 all morning places for their children (no afternoon sessions). An additional benefit for parents is that the Pre-school will again be able to offer lunch club extension to the morning session.

Confirmation
In response to a parental query about  the Sacrament of Confirmation; in our Deanery, Confirmations will no longer take place for children of primary age. However, pupils will have the opportunity to be confirmed at secondary school.
There are currently classes for pupils who are in Years 9 and above.  If you require any further details please contact Fr. Jeff.
