In our Thinking Maths Investigation this week, we have been solving King Arnold's round table problem! King Arnold wants to sit at his round table with some of his knights - in how many different combinations can the knights sit? To solve this problem, we used different methods including re-enactment, diagrams and tables. Our aim was to be able to record our results systematically, in order to check we had all the possible combinations. We enjoyed this task as it allowed us to use our Maths skills in a practical way!
