The Year 4 children have settled in to life in the new class really well.
In their topic they have been learning all about The Romans including the famous archaeological site of Pompeii.

We looked at picture of artifacts that we found there and researched about what they were used for. In addition we decided that these were primary sources as they were made in Roman times.

In our history lessons, we have also been learning a really fun song all about the Romans in Britain... It also uses British Sign Language along with the music and lyrics. You can join in with it by watching the video below

In literacy the children have applied this new found knowledge to write some fantastic stories based in historical settings.

In science our topic has been electricity. Learning about how it is made and how to use it safely.
