Year 4 have had a fantastic, fun-packed day at the Centre for Life in Newcastle today. We investigated habitats, created food chains and classified different animals in the science workshop, while we also had the opportunity to handle tarantulas and stick insects!
In the activity zones, we explored different scientific concepts such as gravity, air resistance and perspective before learning about light and all that glows in the Science Theatre.
The new Dino Jaws exhibition was brilliant, containing life-sized dinosaurs that moved realistically as a result of animatronics and in the planetarium we pondered "Is Anyone Out There...?"
