WELCOME TO THE PRE-SCHOOL

St. Mary’s Duckpool Pre-school provides education and childcare in pre-school sessions for children from age three years up to school age.

We are proud to present an exhibition of art painted by the pupils of St Mary's Primary School.

MONDAY 18th and TUESDAY19th MAY

Viewing sessions from 2.45pm to 6pm, Monday( last admission 5.30pm)
and 8.45am to 9.30pm Tuesday
50p entrance fee which will include refreshments and a free raffle.
Please use the main entrance.

The weather has threatened to spoil all end of term events this year but it stayed fine for the Pre School's beach barbecue party on Friday. The children had a wonderful morning with all sorts of fun activities to play on.

Mr O'Hara kindly volunteered to be the head chef!

The children in the Pre-school enjoy having fun outside in their own safe play area.
They are able to see the children from the main school where some of them will be starting in September.

They enjoy a snack together at breaktime and have lovely bright surroundings where they can play and learn.

Then, it's nice to enjoy a quiet read from some of the exciting and colourful books that belong to the pre-school.

We had great fun hunting for Easter Eggs on the school field. The children had to search high and low to see how many eggs they could find.

We also went on a visit to Whitehouse Farm at Morpeth where we saw lots of animals, especially lambs. The children were invited to feed the lambs and we all had a very enjoyable day.

The Spring 2007 Newsletter

We have had a very exciting time in the play school this year. All the children have had some wonderful experiences.

We have had good fun at Pre-School this year. In Autumn we collected different coloured leaves from our school field for our tree picture on the wall. We made hedgehogs from card and straws. We painted pumpkin pictures for Halloween and made white tissue paper ghosts on strings for Bonfire Night.
