Mr McCarthy Year 5

Mr McCarthy is a very nice teacher. He is usually very funny. He teachesYear 5 and everybody likes him. He also does football lessons every Friday after school and sometimes takes us to football tournaments. He is very sporty and energetic. He likes to communicate with the children well. He drives a Mazda!

Miss Hunt Year 6

Miss Hunt is the Year 6 teacher, who teaches top groups for Literacy and Numeracy. She also teaches music. Miss Hunt went to Kenya earlier this year with Mr. McCarthy and Mrs. McMillan. She organises plays and the recorder groups. She is a really good teacher and is really good at powerpoints and using computers. Miss Hunt is really good at saxaphone and different types of instruments.

The Dinner Nannies

Mrs. Briggs, Miss Porteous, Mrs Small and Mrs Dawn Kelly are our dinner nannies. They work very hard and keep the playground a nice place to be during lunchtime.

Mrs Dobson - teaching assistant

Mrs Dobson is strict, she is kind too. She is funny and smart.
I like Mrs Dobson because she is the mum of my friend.
She looks after the children in KS1 and in KS2.

Mrs Jackson

Mrs Jackson is little. She has short hair and brown eyes.
She is nice. She is very good at helping me.
She is English and explains things really well.
She has always got a smile on her face.

Mrs Noble

She works in her office from 8am to 5pm. She is our school secretary. If you need anything Mrs Noble will get it for you.
Every day she opens the door for me and says, “Good morning�.
When I cry she cuddles me makes me feel happy. She smiles at me and never makes me sad. Every day she talks to me, I like her very much.

Mr Milner the brass teacher

Mr Milner teaches brass every Tuesday. He teaches tenor horn, the cornet and the euphonium.
Also he has to each a lot of people and he never gets mixed up with their lessons. He has taught me to play two instruments, the tenor horn and the euphonium.

Mrs Wright

Mrs Wright teaches in Year 1. She is very nice and looks after 23 children. She helps you to learn. She took us on a trip to Seven Stories where we had fun learning about different stories. My favourite is the Gruffalo. She is the best teacher in the world. We like it when she teaches us joined up handwriting.
Mrs Wright looks after all the maths in the school.
She is kind and makes our learning fun.

Mr Nicholson the guitar teacher

Mr Nicholson is a great guitar teacher. He is always calm and hard working and cares about the young guitar players. I have learned a lot from him about how to play songs and how to read song sheets. The easy songs take about two minutes but the harder ones about five minutes. He gives us lessons after school on a Monday.
I like the Great Escape and The World Cup tune the best.

Mrs Ostell

Mrs Ostell is our class teacher. She is very nice.
She has blond hair and a happy face.
Mrs Ostell is teaching us Spanish.
We can say hello, goodbye and how are you?

Mrs Kelly

Mrs Kelly is the Year 4 teacher. She has brown eyes and grey hair and she is a smiley person.
She helps us to do our work. Before we begin, she tells us what to do, and then she marks out work to see if it is right or wrong.
She is an excellent teacher, which is why we are doing so well.
In this class we read chapter books and we do fun stuff in the afternoons. She is good at surprises and when we are good she gives us rewards and treats.
This is the best class ever!

Miss Hunt

We do lots of fun activities like P.E. If you need help Miss Hunt will always help you. Miss Hunt explains things very well. When we do art with Miss Hunt we do really fun things. At the end of the day Miss Hunt picks the best worker of the day and you get an award. It is fun when we do music with Miss Hunt because she can play the saxophone. In maths we enjoyed doing the crazy house with Miss Hunt. We liked learning about Space and she told us a poem to remember the order of the planets. It goes; my very easy method just speeds up naming planets.
We do maths and literacy games on the Smart board with Miss Hunt, we enjoy it. We had fun making the Easter garden in the RE corner.

Mrs Barrett

Mrs Barrett is Deputy Head and she is also Year 3 teacher.
I really like Mrs Barrett because she is always kind to me and she is one of my favourite teachers. I really, really, really like her. Mrs Barrett never thinks of her self she thinks of the people around her. She is not selfish, she is really nice.
Mrs. Barrett is really good at RE and French. She loves reading. Her favourite book is The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe and Harry Potter.

Mr Dixon the Caretaker

Mr. Dixon is good. He has dark hair and friendly eyes. He is quite tall and he has black shoes. At night he closes the gates and gets the balls out of the bushes. He puts the salt outside when it is icy. He sweeps the leaves in autumn. He fixes things and cleans things. He paints things and makes things and he tidies things. Mr Dixon helps the school in every way he can.
