Working hard in Spring!

« Saint secure League Cup | Main | Newsround - SATs are coming! »

Year 1 have had a very busy half term, and have been working very hard!

We've been thinking all about our rights and responsibilities, by reading "Isn't it a Beautiful Meadow?" by Wolf Harranth. We thought about how it is our responsibility to look after the world, and showed this in a colourful class display.

WEBSITE PICS APRIL 2011.jpgAll of Key Stage 1 have been working really hard to raise money during Lent! We have been collecting money in our class tubs, taking part in the Mother's Day sale, wearing green for a day, and most fun of all, taking part in a sponsored Hoop Hop afternoon! All of the children had a brilliant time and have raised lots of money for a children's cancer charity. Don't forget to bring in your sponsor money!
