Year 6 have been very busy preparing for their SATs, however, we have still managed to have some fun along the way!
Before Christmas we visited the Durham Light Infantry Museum, where we explored what it would be like for those during the 'Home Front'. We dressed up as soldiers, wardens and house wives, while holding and using all kinds of equipment that was important to those at home during the war.
We also had a visit from Richard Stephenson, who came in to share his knowledge about the Home Front.
The countdown to SATs has begun, Year 6 can boost their knowledge by checking out the VLE and completing the tasks and exploring the links to educational websites.
