Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum! Year One have been having lots of fun!

Year One have been having a great time, learning all about how seeds grow, and "growing" our very own beanstalk, which stretches right round the class. We have a real life giant in our school, called Mr Wheatley!! We love stories, and had a great time when Miss hawthorne from Waterstones came to read to us for National Storytelling Week.

Putting a hole in the soil for the seed...We have been writing recounts about how to plant sunflower seeds, and are amazed at how quickly they are growing!

We also really enjoyed borrowing the fantastic Chinese Dragon from Pre-School and dancing up and down the corridor! The children said it made them feel like a real dragon! Now we are looking forward to World Book day and dressing up as our favourite characters.
