Well, what a year we've had in Year 5! I think we all feel utterly shattered after all the hard work (& play!) of the past 11 months.

There've been new starters, school plays, residential trips and a good deal of hard class work in between. I'm really proud of the children and how they have coped with the year's work and wish them all the best for the coming year with Mr. Sutcliffe.
We finished the year off with a trip to the park with our reception class buddies. We had a fantastic day, despite the threat of rain, enjoying a nature walk around the park and sharing games designed by the Year 5 children in the afternoon. Here are a few photos to show you all the fun we had together.
Finally I would just like to thank all the parents/grandparents/friends etc who have helped us in any way this year. I have really appreciated all the support this year, especially in my first year of teaching and wish you all a very happy, safe and relaxing summer holiday!
Look forward to seeing you all in September,
Mr. Wheatley.
