Welcome to year 3
This year Lucy and Dylan have been elected by the class to represent us on the Pupil Council. Their first task was to find out what the favourite meal is in our class so that they could report back to the council and Mrs Pinkney, our school cook.
In September we all went to Arbeia, the Roman fort in South Shields to help us on our topic of the Romans. We had a fantastic time and Mr Armstrong and Mr Frazer explained a lot of interesting facts about the fort to us. We all had a great time exploring like archaeologists and found some very interesting buried treasure.

We have done a lot of work on teeth in Science and had some great tasting sessions!
We love reading in Year 3 and we have already read Super Powers, Hodgeheg and Dustbin Charlie together and we are now laughing our way through You're a Bad Man, Mr Gum! The book recommendations by the children are proving a big success and are giving us all ideas as to what we could read next!
