News From Year 2!!!

Year 2 are enjoying being the oldest children in KS1 and are settling in very well. Sian and Thomas are very excited at being pupil councillors and are taking their job very seriously indeed!

Year 2 have also enjoyed learning all about Samuel Peyps and The Great Fire of London. They impressed the librarian with their knowledge of history on our recent library trip.

In literacy we have been reading "The Witches" by Roald Dahl and are just approaching a very exciting point.

Next week Year 2 will be going to the Hancock museum so watch this space for lots of news and pictures from that!
