Hello welcome to the Reception class of 2009!
The children are settling into school well and are now enjoying our routines.
The Buddy system is working extremely well –Well done Y5! We have some firm friendships already.
Our first Buddy mass will be on Thursday 5th November and you are invited to attend.
Our first trip to Whickham Library was cancelled due inclement weather (It has to be bad to stop us!) Our next trip is on Tuesday 3rd November
We enjoyed our session from the Road Safety Lady last week and we will practice these on our journey.
We have just started our Literacy Programme and the children are very independent in finding their area linked to their group –Well done!
Thank you to the parents who are about to join our sessions –we look forward to seeing you each week.
I hope you are enjoying the Spanish songs as much as the children, they have learned them so quickly!
The children are trying very hard to fasten their coats themselves as the weather changes. Please encourage this at home.
