The Reception Class have been growing in Faith & Love!
Well actually, they have grown physically as well & are filling up our carpet space!
We have looked at different aspects of Growth & Living Things –discussing how the needs are similar but different.
Ourselves – plants (the difference between real & artificial –the children love that word!) pets –farm animals – wild animals (the favourite!) – water creatures and more! We have enjoyed making our Topic Books.
We have learned about what they need to live and grow in a healthy way - types of food – different shelters – light – water – exercise & love!
We have designed & made Zoos (Colin the Crocodile was very popular!) – farms – shelters for pets & the Garden Centre has been a huge success!
The children love to sing along in our Spring Songs.
We made colourful prayer flowers, creating our own special prayers for those we love and care about. We know that God loves us all.
Our CD mobiles are eye catching as they spin around showing the children when they were babies and how they look now.
Our sound table is as popular as ever –next weeks is difficult - x
so something ending in x may be easier?
We participated in the Spring Bulb Painting Competition which was held in Whickham earlier this month.
As ever, many thanks to the parents who are able to support our group work on a morning.
