Accompanied by Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Corrigan, we were entertained by Gez Walsh. First he soaked everyone with a giant water gun, poor Megan got wet through. He has written a lot of books of very funny poems, many are especially for boys!

Then he invited the children to try and write a poem about an alien. He gave them lots of silly ideas and read some of his poems to help, although I'm not sure, The Spot on my Bum, did help!

The children then recorded the poems and videod them to put on the website.
We had a fantastic day and felt inspired to try and write some more silly poems back at school.
