Lots of news from Y6- Ben, poppies and a volcano!
Everyone in Y6 is very impressed by Ben Harrison's donation of £100 for school funds which he raised doing the Junior Great North Run. We are sure that Ben will help us find something exciting to spend it on so watch this space.
Y6 also visited the Cenotaph in Whickham on Remembrance day as part of their studies on WW2. They read a poem and said prayers to remember all those who have died for their country at war.
In science Y6 have been looking at reversible and irreversible change and made a volcanic eruption so powerful that it just had to go on the website!
