Year 5 have been busy building Lego models.
It has been a wonderful start to Year 5. We have been investigating rivers and the journey they make from the source in the mountains, to the mouth at the sea. Meanwhile, in Science we have been investigating our pulse rate and recording the effects of exercise upon it. In Art we have produced some fantastic still life drawing, and the class had a wonderful time using the cameras to capture their own still life images from around school.
We have been busy building our own Lego models within our literacy lessons. Once we had built our models we then recorded the instructions needed to build it. The class are looking forward to individually producing an instruction manual for their Lego model, including a picture of their final design.
