A huge welcome to the new Reception Children!

For the most they have settled very well and are enjoying their new adventure.

They were introduced to all the children at the whole school assembly and they sang beautifully –Hello everybody, My name is……………….
There were lots of oooohs and aaaahs!

Many thanks to the Y5 Buddies who have showed great enthusiasm in the pastoral care of the little ones and already great friendships are being developed.

We have enjoyed our topic on ‘Ourselves’ and getting to know each other, making new friends along with the old. Diego the Hamster had a special welcome when he came for a sleepover! We were able to look at similarities and differences between animals and us. We made A Big Hamster Book ready to go to our partner Comenius schools in Spain –Italy and Germany.

If your child has talked, or done any work at home (inc. photos) relating to any aspect of school, please send it in and we can add it to their port folio. This of course should be of a positive approach. Just write on Parent & the name of the child.

Thanks to all of the parents who completed the questionnaire, I’m sure you will agree from the results, the feedback has been very positive.
