Spring Term Year 4 2008

This term in Year 4, the children have learnt a great deal from a 'Tudor Visitor'.
The math's group have also taken part in a 'Math's Trail'.

On Thursday January 24th Year 4 had a special visitor. It was a lady dressed in a 'Tudor Merchant's wife's costume. She told us many interesting things about Henry Vlll. She brought along exciting artifacts for us to look at such as, money they used in Tudor times, pictures and books. She made us laugh and she enjoyed doing her embroidery. At the end, we decided it was better to live in modern times!

A group of children from Years 3 and 4 went with Years 5 and 6 on the 'Math's Trail' accompanied by parents through the Metro Centre. It was organised by Dr. Maths, we all had great fun finding out answers to difficult question's, We tried Soduko and we saw the Math's Magician.
