This term we are really getting our teeth (and tongue!) around the new Letters and Sounds Programme.
The fact that Mrs Ostell is saying them in her sleep is worth it because of the progress the children are making!
We are having great fun blending and segmenting the words and the sound buttons are very popular.
Thank you for your support at home –it really does make a difference, in fact, give yourselves a p a t o n t h e b a c k!
The children enjoyed Pancake Tuesday and Mrs Norman had to go home and start all over again!
We are looking forward to our visit to The Teddy Bears Workshop next week.
We have just been to the CLC (City Learning Centre)
Where, we have been working with BEEBOTS (robotic bees!) The children have been using directional language of; forward, backwards left and right to get the BEEBOTS to the correct destination!
See you all after the break!!!
