We visited Arbeia Roman fort in South Shields in October. In the morning some of us were slaves and the citizens had to bid for us! We excavated like archaeologists and Grace and Sergio found a real skull! After lunch we explored the remains of the fort and enjoyed pretending to be Roman soldiers. We had a really great day at Arbeia and bought our souvenirs at the end of the day!
In October we visited Sunderland Empire to see The Ruthless Romans. It was a fantastic show and we all agreed that the best part was when we wore the 3D glasses. It really seemed like the spears were coming straight for us during the battle!
