News From Y6

« Year One - November 2007 | Main | Creepy Crawlies and Hopeless Camels! »

Y6 have been working very hard so far this term but have been having lots of fun too! They had a fantastic day at Eden camp in October and are really looking forward to the up coming theatre trip to see "A Christmas Carol" in December.

Y6 have also stretched their brains to the max by being the first class in the school to use the new Mathletics computer program and exercise their mental maths skills! They have also used their practical maths skills and investigated probability by seeing which way up toast lands when you drop it!

They have also been very creative making a fantastic firework themed dance for bonfire night and have just started working on the Christmas pantomime so watch this space.
Y6 is a year when all of the children have to work hard, but so far this class have shown that hard work and good behaviour can make learning lots of fun!
