Mrs Kelly Year 4
Life in Year 4
In Year 4 Mrs Kelly is the class teacher. We are learning about Henry Vlll and The Tudors, it is very exciting. We are going to design costumes for the rich people who lived in those times.
In RE we are learning about babies. Laura Kelly brought in her baby brother so we could find out more about what babies need.
In science we have explored electricity, now we know how to set up a circuit andmake a light bulb work. We know what makes a good insulator and conductor.
We found out lots fo information about Saint Cuthbert on the internet and set up a display at the entrance to the school. We work hard to get house points and if we are especially good, we can win a golden ticket!

How are you all? How I miss you all, I often think about what you're up to.
I have just read about what you're doing Year 4 and it sounds really exciting. I like the idea of getting a golden ticket, a bit like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. You will have to let me know how that's going. And Laura how lovely to hear that your new brother has arrived, I'm sure you're very happy.
I'm enjoying everything here in Bergamo and my new school is very nice, the children there speak lots of different languages; English Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish and there are two boys from Kenya who speak Swahili.
Well If Mrs McMillan lets me! I may be able to visit you at the end of October.
